As of right now none of the maps are stored locally. All of the maps are saved on the cloud for you. There is an advantage and a disadvantage to the users. The disadvantage is of course having to be connected to a network to be able to flash the maps back and forth. The advantage would be that you can access your maps from any device by just simply logging in!
