Since when does a car being bug-eyed have anything to do with a one-piece headlight? Being bug-eyed is the characteristic of having eyes that are disproportionally large. The bug-eyed Sprite -- probably the canonical use of the term in an automotive context -- didn't have "one-piece headlights".

The 135i is bug-eyed, as were many "classic" BMW designs. You don't have to like the 135i design, but you can't just make shit up as you go along.
