Akebono EUR1656 Rear Ceramic pads
I installed the Akebono EUR1656 Rear Ceramic pads on my M240xi about 3 months ago, and about 1 month ago when going in reverse the pads started making a horrible squeaking noise. It happens more when cold backing out of my driveway and it literally wakes up my neighbors. No noise when going forward or when breaks are hot. Live in NJ, so very cold the past month.
I had applied brake quiet on the back of the pads when I installed them, as well as the special brake grease on the moving parts.
Any suggestions?
I am now hesitant installing Akebono's on the front.
