As a service oriented company I'm sure that BMW will give you some leeway with regard to high performance use, but I wouldn't bank on it.

That's really awesome on Chevy's part. I'm sure there are limits, but they're clearly pushing more toward an enthusiast friendly warranty. Hopefully that puts some pressure on other manufacturers to follow suite with their motorsports focused models.
