I can see how someone would get 20-22 and even less if they are driving hard, jack rabbit starts at every light and stop, or revving out the engine all the time.
Getting MPG averages on forums isn't reliable because many of us drive differently, on different terrain, city, suburban, country, tire pressures, how often and how many passengers, etc...
