For the hood gap that should be an easy fix for you. Open the hood, lift up the rubber gasket, loosen the big torx bolts under it slightly, adjust gap, put hood down, check gap, open hood, readjust, etc, until you get it the way you want. That one is probably easier to just do yourself, that way you'll know its done right.
