It worked out OK last time. There is limited crossover between M3/4 buyers and 1M /M2 buyers, so I don't really think one group steals many sales from the other. As long as BMW under-rates the M2 as much as they did the 1M, M3/4 buyers will be able to justify the higher price to themselves. And few will be the wiser, if history is any guide. |
