My fear is that BMW is sending a signal by putting a standard LSD on the M235 that there won't be an M2.
Also--think of it this way--there aren't any M335 or M435s...but there WILL be an M3 and an M4....
By giving us
some of the ///M goodness in the M235 (lsd, higher BHP than standard 335/435), BMW might be holding off on the "entry level" M car.
