Isn't the option all-season versus summer tires, and wouldn't the summer tires have a higher speed rating? So, it would seem the opposite to me? Opting for all-seasons would require a lower speed limiter. Maybe I'm missing something.

At any rate, I can definitely see where tire selection would impact the speed limiter now.
