white smoke from exhaust, burning oil?

2014 M235i, original owner. Never observed this white smoke issue before. I am not a mechanic but google around indicates possible:
Crankcase Ventilation Valve CCV/PCV valve issue
Damaged cylinder head

It's not a lot of smoke, just a bit. Passenger side exhaust pipe only. Exhaust sound is off too. Never seen it in almost 10 years of ownership. White smoke, mostly on ignition start up. Took it to a local BMW branded shop (not a dealer) and they basically said it's fine, keep driving, nothing too bad . Only thing they found was the turbo throttle pipe (aka charge pipe) is a bit cracked/damaged where it connects to the engine.

Ran the oil level check on the car and it's low, on the way towards below minimum levels . That doesn't seem good.

Thoughts? Opinions? Take it to another mechanic?
