A convertible 135i here in the USA costs $44,400.

Give or take they may have different thing standard, the difference in the e82 135i convertible is $10,673.

If we apply that to his current M235i pricing:

R503079.40 (~$50307.94 USD) - 10,673 USD =

$39,634 USD for an M235i. Given there is no 235i model, and a USA 135is is about $43,550. Then this confirms my initial thought that the M235i will most likely start at around 42k in the USA.

Why? Scott said expect the pricing to be similar to a 135i with M sport package. That, and I think since no 235i model, they will produce more M235is, so they lose less then when making 135is, which a 135is is a 135i until it hits port (so people at port have to do installations instead of from factory).

Personally? I think it will start at 41.5k not including destination, so around 42k
