I went from years of manuals to this auto in the M235i (mine was a CPO as well). Every now and then I wish I had the manual, and then I get stuck in traffic... The 8-speed auto is a great transmission. I appreciate it when I have a handful of car on the track and i don't have to worry about shifting. And if you do want to shift, you always have the paddles.
