We've had an AWD in the garage since 2006. The wife's last two Bimmers have been RWD (e92M3 and Z4 35is). We put winter tires on them and she's never had an issue getting around western WA all year. My 335 xi will be the last AWD. Unless I was driving in hard core winter stuff all the time, I wouldn't bother with AWD.
