Pretty sure that the 35i is for a 3.5L
equivalent engine. The 30 in the old 330i/ci were for a 3.0L engine. Then BMW went turbo and the 3.0L are
equivalent to a 3.5L.
I think I read that somewhere... As for the 28is, I have no idea haha.
