So having said all of that, and by MT standards of the car not being as fun to drive....you think that warrants about a $13k price difference compared to the M235i as tested when you load it up? If you think it does, then I respect your opinion. For me however, if I were to load this up and see a $60k price tag, I would shop around and see what else is out there.

I just think by virtue of being a full-blown AMG, the CLA45 is going to command a higher price.
It was fitted with the optional Recaro racing seats, etc. It had some technological features and other creature comforts that the other cars lacked.
From a cost perspective, it really shouldn't have been included in this comparison.
I think the M235i is a great value but if you load up a CLA45, you are flat-out getting some things you can't in the BMW.
