Then I saw the 235. I never drove one but after seeing all the reviews and seeing one at an auto show, I took a gamble by placing an order without so much as a test drive and have no regrets.

Yup, I felt the same. I didn't like how big the 3 and 4 series were. I wanted something more sporty and actually a bit more compact. The 2 seemed to be the most logical choice.
