Whatever it is, I love my 228! I road tested an Audi A3 which is rated at 220Hp and similar weight, and my 228 feels significantly faster. The extra gears help, but the engine just seems a lot stronger. I traded in a GenV GTI and the Audi didn't feel much stronger than the GTI. So says my extremely accurate butt dyno!
