I was in the exact same spot, and I finally pulled the trigger on the m235i.

335 is a fantastic car, but the steering is painfully numb, and from what I can tell based on the reviews I have read, the 2 steering seems to be an improvement, although not ideal.

The m235i has a great exhaust note, and will most likely be a great car for both highway and back country journey's.

There are so many 3's on the road, even though most are bare bones 328i's, but to the untrained eye, an M sport 3 is just another 3.

That said, the 3 is probably better looking, but I wanted to go in a new direction.

Time will tell if I made the right call.
