Not sure how a vert top makes it look cheap. Don't get the 1er reference either. I think it looks great. If I was to say anything looks cheep it would be the whole 2 series line because it looks like a poor mans 4er. The One looked nothing like the 3er. Of course I am biased and will probably buy a 2er in the future. Was waiting to here exactly the M2 news that we got. No sense in settling for a M235i now.
