If I was going to keep the car long term and drive 12K+ miles per, I'd change @ 12-1500 miles first time and then IAW manufacturer's recommendations.
However, I'm low miles driver so first oil change was 1 yr w/ less than 4K miles on the odo.
I will likely trade car before factory warranty expires.
