I did say. Twice... Varies from state to state.
The real issue was not wether it was allowed per state... Although... I should have followed up more (east coast here). I take that one.
But... The issue with the other cat, was what IS UM, and the differences in the TYPES of coverage.
However... Being he is in CA... That is an issue.
For the overwhelming majority of the rest of us... All still applies...
My concern was, people sometimes think it's more difficult to get things repaired... And not worth the hassle.
No reason, usually to have a brand new car... And have a dent piss you off forever.
