That's a pretty sad consolation considering that Florida has some of the more f'ed up insurance regulations and prices in the country and on top of that. having a low or no deductible comprehensive policy on any decent insurance carrier is only a few bucks per month compared to a deductible near or greater than the out of pocket expense of a new windshield.
