I see lots of people complaining about this, I see no one coming up with a better idea.

These are three different cars:

220d, 220d, 220d.

Which makes the most power, which is likely the most expensive, which one might be the quickest, which one might be the most economical?

Tough to guess, right.

Now try it with these:

225d, 218d, 220d.

?

The numbering system is fine, it used to be the capacity that made the difference, now it isn't, how would they best communicate the differences now without completely changing the naming structure?
