Ok
I thought fitting the grills was going to be similar to the E92's I've done in the past. I was wrong
I started by removing the rubber weather strip from the back edge of the front top of the bumper. This exposed 6 x torque screws, which I removed.
The problem is this only allows about 2" of movement and although you can just slide a screw driver in behind, you are pretty much working blind.
I also notice some pretty snug rubber ducting that surrounded the bumper which channelled air to the radiator. This looked like something I didn't want to disturb.
So I cut the black upright bars of one grill. This allowed easy access behind. where I used a flat edge of a trim tool to pop the clips.
I have no intention of refitting the chrome grill. So wasn't bothered that I lost one.
The grills were £84.00 this was with -10% discount from my dealer.
