If I were to go electric right now, it'd be GM for sure. Tesla has a long way to go to build a car that doesn't fall apart after a couple years (and cost a small fortune).
Been hearing so much good things about diesels lately though, I think that would be my first choice for a good gas mileage vehicle.
But until gas goes over $6/gallon minimum, I am perfectly happy in the 20-25mpg range.
