the current 135is starts at $44K, considering the new name and the same powertrain with the 135is, the M235i will be nearly as expensive and definitely more expensive than the current 135i which starts at a friendly $40K.
anyways after seeing the photos i'm pretty sure this is going to be my next car, the 4 series seems to pack less tech than this(no touch idrive?)and a lot more expensive.

This is the problem with forums. People post information with such certainty when in fact they have no clue, only speculation.
The change in model designation has no influence in price. Period.
Cars will elevate in price every year, which is typical of all brands, but more times than not, the price increase is due to additional equipment and features being added as standard for that model.
