"Are you high?" - curb weight for the standard M3 coupe in 2004 was of 1570 kg - and to translate that into pounds would add up to 3475 pounds - minus 3050 pounds that the M3 CSL had - that would make it a difference of 425 pounds.. not the 200 in your math... i would refrain from comment if i were you.. cause you clearly don't know what you are talking about...
This is where being an internet jockey fails you. Did you own and weigh an E46 M3 without a driver? Get back to me when you look up actual scaled weight of a manual E46 M3 with manual seats, no sunroof, no driver and at least half a tank of gas. I suspect you will find an answer between 3,185 and 3,240.
