Personal opinion - Dinan with stock lower box is best until you get into Eventuri silly money land. You can add the AFE scoop but I don't think that does much TBH.

Agree - with yr opinion above.
I ended up with oem lower airbox + Dinan CAI + AFE DAS on my M135i - it offered marginal improvement in IAT and throttle reponse compared to my prior setup - which was OEM airbox, AFE dry drop in panel filter and AFE DAS. This was a good VFM upgrade IMHO as it yielded better IAT's and throttle response than stock.
