Have you driven the M235i yet? If not, I highly recommend it. Can't really disparage something you have no experience with, eh?
I drove one on yesterday for the first time, and absolutely loved it. This is the car BMW needed to make, and they did an EXCELLENT job with it. Its not perfect, but its the best of its ilk right now.
