BMW M235i Coupe: Six-cylinder in-line petrol engine with M Performance TwinPower Turbo technology (twin-scroll turbochargers, High Precision Direct Injection, VALVETRONIC variable valve timing, Double-Vanos).
My gut feeling there was a breakdown with the Double-Vanos system leading to the engine failure.
