i have the blendmount on two other vehicles & already ordered one for my m235i since i like the more permanent solution/look in a "lockable" vehicle.

The eBay one would be perfect for that assuming they have something for the V1, although if memory serves the top of your mount is curved so might be more difficult for someone to fab. If that's the case the home depot option would be great. I can PM you some pics tomorrow.
