So right there the muscle cars are out. The only other cars in that range at the 4 series and the a5. I like the A5/S5 but i think the 2 series is more unique and it seems to be a performance bargain as it's a bit lighter than the other cars mentioned.

You should consider a 2016+ CLA45 then (I believe 2016 is when they got a nice bump in power). Lots of potential there. I crossed shopped them quite a bit before going with the m235.
