I think the funny thing is everybody always has something to complain about.
Same stuff over and over:
-M235i isn't a true M car (it's M performance, no one said it was true M, learn your f'ing cars before opening your mouth)
-M235i can't keep up with M cars (it can and does in short distances, which is what it was made for, it's not made for the track, that's why there is specifically a M235i racing car)
Then comes the M2
-It's gonna be something like "M2 is just a M235i racing car in disguise", it's not a true M
I do share the sentiment that when you see a M2 and a M235i right next to each other, logically from normal naming standards, the peons are going to say the M235i must be the stronger car. I think that's a mistake.
In the end, the M235i is an incredibly fun car that rivals e36 and e46 M3's, and that's exactly what it's meant to do. Leave it at that.
