The xDrive in my E92 335i is very nice indeed. Good grip in snow, except I can't take it out when there's too much snow. For that, I have my trusty old 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4.
That goes in 2 feet of snow without any issues - no lift kit. Audi Quattro probably is not as good as even my Jeep's.
