That is absolutely right. To install the kit, about 2" of the rear wheel arch have to be cut in order to accomondate the bigger wheels that go so beautiful with the wide body kit.

However, as the front pieces are glued / swapped entirely it would only be the rear quarter panel that needs to be re-done. Yes, it is work. But entirely doable. So with the right budget, it even would make sense on a lease car.

But who would want to remove such a cool looking kit anyhow?
