Are you sure that you got the 850w fan?
Did they retrofit the high power relay required for 850w fan on passenger side wheel arch near coolant expansion tank on your car?
BMW changed again the reference of 600w cooling fan in september 2014 so it should be fixed with new reference and car coding.
