Do both! I did in 2010 and it was awesome! We drove around Europe for a week, but the car on a boat and waited for it to arrive at the Performance center. Drove a one-way rental to Spartanburg and had a great time. Of course, we didn't get the 45 minute instruction on the car because we already had a week's experience with it.
