I was in Woodland Hills this afternoon around 3:30. I was traveling west at the intersection of Ventura Blvd. and Topanga Canyon Blvd. in my i8.

Coming in the other direction and turning north on Topanga Canyon Blvd. were a wrapped 5er (wrapped in that kind of wrap that makes it difficult to discern the shape underneath). It was followed by three cars. A Bimmer I didn't recognize, a protonic blue i8 and a Mini (I think; it happened quickly).

Based on the entourage I wonder if the 5er was a plug in hybrid.

Hard to discern anything in particular. It was about the size of the current 5er, maybe a skosh smaller.

I did wave at the guy driving the 5er but ignored my protonic brother. (I did notice the i8 had a label of some kind on the door, centered on the door and maybe six inches below the window, maybe 12 inches in length.)
