The passenger side was where my wife would normally have it I think...she is 5'1".
She usually moves the seat up a bit too so our 7 year old son has room without constantly kicking the seat (although I have him well trained in that department!). The driver seat was moved up in the photos since it was folded forward. But the legroom was actually quite decent I thought...it was the headroom in the back that was iffy (I'm 5'7" and my hair hit the headliner).
