The FLE functions are different and the coding parameters are much more in-depth for VLD and GFHB to become active. Thus, those coding parameters would not work for you on the G12.

Is it possible to code just the VLD on a G12 using Bimmercode?

It's shares the same headlight platform as the M4 and I have heard that some folks where able to code VLD and some even report GFHB. You can find a lot on the subject in the F80/82 section.
However, the US headlights and the ROW have different part numbers and also a different arrays of LEDs, so it would function properly unless you retrofit the European version of the headlights, which has the proper hardware.
VLD would be able to code successfully, since it speed-dependent and really just changes the beam range.
GFHB requires a matrix of LEDs to create the proper beam patterns, which the US spec headlights lacks.
The 2 series with Xenon was able to code in GFHB because it was simpler in its function, in which it used the hi-beam flap, projector and camera to manipulate the beam pattern.
LEDs uses a different MO and controller, so it's required a lot more intricate coding than Xenons.
