I do not know if the B58 is capable of handling 500 HP. I would get it tuned to 450HP, which I believe is quite achievable given the correct set of mods. I just do not see this car needing anything more than ~425 HP. Given that BMWs own 0-60 time for M240 Xdrive is 4.2 seconds (Conservative estimate).
Dinan's measured Motor HP was rated at ~370 and 415 Ft Lb of torque for the M240i and they have an elite tune out claiming gains on 40 HP and 60 Ft.Lb of torque w/stage 1, which is more than I will ever need...
