I haven't got mine in yet hoping for this Friday but I remember someone saying that it is a part of the extended instrument cluster but it is not an active gauge. I think it should be standard option and not paid for personally.
I could be wrong here but it seems to be bothersome to a few members and some seem to not care, I'll take a look once mine arrives if someone else can't confirm.
