A good friend of mine powder coats so I go to him. I pay $125 per wheel.
That being said, I thought about dipping but so far I haven't seen a finish that I like. They all seem to look on the matte side. If you want to keep your original finish I would dip but keep in mind that there's a chance of eating the clear coat (according to my buddy). There's also hydrodipping as an option. My friend does that too I'm just not sure how it comes off.
