I have the N20 in an X1 and it flys and greatly outperforms the NA 3.0 BMW made for years which I owned several times. Not everyone wants a N55. I have a N54 in a 3 series and I'm impressed with the N20.

it may be fine for an X1....it's not fine for a small BMW coupe.
