Unless you keep the 1m for over 10 years while driving her very little, keeping it sort of like a collectible, I don't think resale value (at least in hk) will go up in the short term.
I do not think the 1m having the "1" already in the registration document is a problem because I think this is reflected in the price already. I have seen a 1m with similar mileage awhile ago being a "0" owner and the asking price for that was hk$810,000.
