You've got your small in the m2
Medium in the m3/4
And large in m5/6
Couldn't they have made on model for the fans of NA engines?
A highly tuned 4 cyl engine in a light weight body?
With all the talk about how advanced BMW is with carbon fiber manufacturing
You'd think they could come up with some shared parts to make this happen

If you want a 4 cyl, it HAS to be turbocharged. You can't get enough performance from an NA 4 cyl. The last powerful/highly tuned NA engine was the 2.2L in the S2000 and that made 240hp. The M2 will need 350hp at least, so you would need a highly tuned NA 6cyl (unlikely), or N55 derived turbo 6 cyl, or all new turbo 4 cyl. The N55 is the cheapest option for BMW.
