Yes and the tire ins for winter tires from tire rack is $20 per tire. If you run Sport edition rims which lots of folks do you can get a whole winter setup for $1400, and if you destroy a wheel and tire you're out $140 for the wheel and the tire gets replaced for you. The BMW insurance is crazy expensive especially if you only have the covered wheels and tires on half the time. The other thing to consider is by running two sets your regular tires will last twice as long (from a time perspective) so the $1400 for winter gear isn't that bad considering new tires all around will cost $1K.
