The differences between these numbers are well within normal variance.
This reminds me of wine sold as having 12.5% alcohol. In reality, and legally everywhere, the number is anywhere between 11% and 14%, but only better French producers will list the range rather than the median. Perhaps a better auto manufacturer like BMW should do the same as the French wineries. So instead of 189, they should list 185-193. Then we would have less to complain about.
