I asked about a MPPK for the M240i a while back. Was told that the M240i was already mapped (by BMW) as though it had an MPPK installed. Thinking about it, this made sense when comparing the B58 numbers in other BMW models to the M240i. HP and torque bumps were about what you'd expect if there was an MPPK installed on say a 340i.
I'd not look for anything other than cosmetic "M" parts or exhaust for the M240i from BMW. If you want a bump in performance, look to aftermarket power modules.
A dealer installed Dinan elite provide a smooth operating and noticeably quicker M240i w/o any real warranty concerns.
