That steering wheel is one of the main reasons that I didn't pull the trigger on either a GTI with the PP package, or the R. The R has 4 doors which is a deal breaker to me. That brushed aluminum just looks cheesy to me. For some, it may look great, but to me…….NO. Don't know about the turn signal levers, but the 2 that I test drove, didn't seem to bother me, and if it did, I'd remember.
